The Emilio Aguinaldo College web site re-launched. Updates on some pages / sections are still in progress though. All apologies to the Emilians , it's only a one-man team working on the site. The following story appeared in The Globe Online: Appeal spreads for series that spreads the word (2/27/2002) "During an England-bound commercial airline flight over the Atlantic Ocean, about half the passengers suddenly vanish, leaving only clothing and a few personal effects. The shocked pilot, Rayford Steele, turns the plane around, lands in Chicago, and soon learns that what his born-again Christian wife, Irene, had told him would happen has happened. The Rapture has occurred - Jesus has returned and taken all true Christians to heaven, including Irene and their son, Raymie."

I've been following this retread of the weblogging phenomenon lately. Well, I picked up some good suggestions to consider pertaining to points of view. But the first-person perfectly suits my subject (perhaps a pig's eye-view? hehehe) . Not to mention the occasional postings in my native tongue. Talk about breaking the rules, huh? this point of view is nothing personal but these lines in I point of view so very true with a little bit of fiction drawn from the knowledge gained through imagination and this I point of view means something so personally true that I haply lost my classical virtue

It's been a while since I last read the on-line version of the Philippine Panorama. Another article from one of my favorite Filipino poets, Cirilo F. Bautista -- Design Elements In the Poetry of the Subconscious . Will try to submit some poems in the said publication again, my first and last submission was way back in 1993 duh! In the News: Another Kennedy finds success with words After the success of The Best-Loved Poems of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis , Caroline Kennedy is editing two more books, a sign the Kennedy name is even more popular in publishing than in politics.

A revision (and still a work in progress) of my old poem: by the Pasig river when will it subside the poisonous - the clinging darkness on your breast? i should have been drowning with childish joys merely looking at your face listening to your rippling voice you are soiled now O lady men have defiled you spoiled your youth no more your fresh breath blows softly sweetly upon my cheeks nor your qunching elixir satisfies my thirst no more the lovers swear undying love before your feet nor the orient moon agleams upon your face O you are now a plain image of death! time will heal you yes time will heal you when man heals himself of his searing sickness and social disease (circa 1992) A new Black Heritage Commemorative Stamp of Langston Hughes was issued by the United States Postal Service lately. Well, it's Valentine's Day and I hear lovespeak and the poetry of flowers in the air. hush! - the lover's touch. NOT NOD NON NOS NIAC AC BIA AC - A hermit in Pangasinan taugh me these cryptic words. It is supposed to be a spell that works like Eros' love arrows. But , if you don't understand it, don't try it. :p A site worth linking -- Ian Casocot's Literature 21: A Critical Survey of Philippine Literature (Dept of English and Literature, Siliman University, Dumaguete City)

New random covers dedicated to all potential lovers. Hmmm... kinda feminine though. Also added back the comments/guestbook page in the Diurnal section. "The flower is the poetry of reproduction. It is an example of the eternal seductiveness of life." -- Jean Giraudoux, The Enchanted, 1933 Nexus: Los - contemporary poesy & art
