Revised version of the RC Bagumbayan website is up. I'm working on the EAC website rather slowly but hopefully in a month or so I'll be posting new contents. The index page of the EAC website was changed or hacked yesterday. I've no idea if it's inside job or some prankster did it. duh!

I found a rare copy of Pangasinan 1572-1800 by Rosario Mendoza Cortes (© 1974) while browsing through the Filipiniana section of EAC Library. I'm currently reading the book and probably extract some materials to add into my Pangasinan pages. In the News: 'World's worst poet' wins immortality A Scottish poet so bad he was often asked to perform just so the audience could laugh at him will have his verse etched in stone in the city where he worked. Referral: coming from Midnight Rain -- Ruby Olalo's personal website.

For the first time in 4 years, the harddisk in my office computer gave up >:-( I'm still recovering my files from the backup. On the other hand, I'm still working on my Heron's Nest haiku submissions. Many thanks to Ferris Gilli for her valuable suggestions! In the News: Soul of Afghanistan etched in poetry of its people For at least the last millennium, Afghanistan has been a society of poets. Two-thirds of Afghans can't read or write, but nearly every shopkeeper and taxi driver can quote an appropriate stanza, or make up a new couplet on the spot. Newspapers include poetry columns, kids battle with exchanges of rhyme on street corners, and some of the country's best histories are in verse. Nexus: Visions Edge Archives - custom-designed virtual chapbooks.

I just made another revisions of The Pearl Manila Hotel and Rotary Club Bagumbayan web sites :-p In the News: Working the web: Poetry Poetry has traditionally proved a difficult genre to publish, but on the web it is flourishing. Steinbeck in his own words Centennial: A new collection of nonfiction marks what would be the 100th birthday of one of America's great writers.
