A fragment from my old notebook entitled Love Letters, Memories, and Other Bruises: the sun went down and as i stroll along the silent ground i heard the song of the low rushing wind the twilight hour filled with balsam air eased the burden of my searchihg soul beloved, tonight i will sleep alone and remembering the sins of your lips still burning on my skin In the News: Arguments Over Shakespeare Painting

I've been browsing my rotting notebooks again looking for some trifle writings to revise and I found this unsent letter to a pen pal in Queensland, Australia a few years back. have just openned the your recent letter after re-reading the previous ones learning to pronounce G'day Mate! in Australian accent in front of the looking-glass there's nothing on them really but words speaking for itself no such poetry in greetings y'know anyways, i am glad the rats in the post office didn't smell the 20-dollar bill inside the envelop 't is probably too small for them to devide and devour knowing 't is not enuf to cure their acute ulcer On the other hand, I am still polishing my poems written in Pangasinan dialect. I'll post the initial collection soon in the Unpoemed & Pangasinan Literature sections of my site. and YES, just for the poem of it, I too submitted my site for the 4th Philippine Web Awards. Hmmm...CNN.com nominated in the 4th Philippine Webby Awards ! Must be a prankster or a test entry. *grin!* Anyways, I'm on hiatus for a couple of days again and how hard it is to spend the night when you run out of words to write as if the moment is an eternal silence or a spell that paralyzes the mind. my poetry is without form my music is inaudible and yet i persist to reveal the meaning of my tuneless words O let me speak perhaps my cube and crude images have their own distinct voice too hideous for voiceless eyes too profound for deaf-mute hearts to understand In the news: 'Vagina Monologues' writers in Filipino live their art . . . Travelling Arab Poetry Festival presents diversity of talents, topics . . .

Har! Har! I've joined the so-called PEx Poetry Club again after unsubscribing from their list a month ago. I'm hoping to be able to attend the meeting this month. I was told there's going to be poetry readings and critiques. Well, that's something to look for :-) Agung News : The Hudhud Chants of the Ifugao was chosen by the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) as one of the first awardees of the "Masterpieces of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity". The Perception Project -- submit about "something people perceive themselves to be but they really are not". Hmmm...have you read Kafka? w.h.a.t.i.s.t.h.e.m.a.t.r.i.x? Nexus: Ibalik.net (ibalik is a Filipino or Tagalog term which means return or bring back ) -- This is the 3rd site so far that I've seen on the net with Baybayin or Alibata scripts.

Bartleby.com - the largest free collections of verse on the web. Had this resource already available when I was still in college, I would have impressed my professors in Literature by submitting my term papers on time :-)

The Province of Pangasinan : Its History, People, Culture, the Arts and Literature pages already available on-line. I am still gathering pertinent materials though for content and I'll be posting my new poems in Pangasinan dialect soon in the literature section. This is going to be a long-term project and I am not sure if these pages are going to be a note-worthy resource about the province and the Pangasinense. I'd be concentrating more, however, on writings -- the mere fact that Pangasinan is a dying dialect. Nexus: Los - contemporary poesy & art
