The National Book Development Board (NBDB) is pleased to announce that it is now accepting applications for the National Book Development Trust Fund. For 2011, the NBDB will be awarding three (3) grants for the following topics: a) Health and Wellness, b) Environment and Biodiversity, and c) the English translation of a novel originally written in a regional language (viz. Tagalog, Cebuano, Ilokano, Bikolano, Hiligaynon, Waray, Kapampangan, Pangasinense) or a novel in English by an author from the regions. Applicants are required to submit, along with the duly accomplished Application Form and other requirements, a draft equivalent to twenty-fivepercent (25%) or more of the entire manuscript, research, or multimedia work.Chosen authors will be awarded a grant of around P200,000.00 each.
