Poem in a poem (or a poem within a poem) theory: a special and poetic innovation after e. e. cummings' style. The method is to combine two poems or stanzas into one. The second poem must be enclosed in parenthesis for visual distinction.

An example from the poem fragments:

kiss me
(like a
bee) so
softly (in
a rose)
love

This is the result of combining the lines kiss me so softly love and like a bee in a rose.

Go ahead try it and write one yourself :-)
