I've updated Balikas 1 & 2 (poetry in Pangasinan dialect.) Also corrected some spelling errors after learning from a fellow Pangasinense that there is no syllable wa and letter k in written Pangasinan. Thus, the word wala (meaning There is) should be written as oala and sika tan siak (meaning You and Me) should be sica tan siac. However, to make the poems contemporary I have retained the use of letter K instead of C.

Santiago Villafania is a bilingual Filipino poet who writes in English and in his native language of Pangasinan. Born in Tuliao, Sta. Barbara, Pangasinan on 31 January 1971, Villafania graduated with a degree of Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Pangasinan in 1991. Villafania advocates for the resurgence of Pangasinan as a literary language.
