Another revision of my early poems. Do not find any continuity of thought in the poem, each verse is independent of the rest.

broken quatrains

1.)

i shall not be
a dust of saint
i shall not need
Zion's glory
on papyrus my self
to paint
i shall be one
godly
poetry

2.)

strange voyage
into the unknown
circles
of imagination
ensures a man
a crown
a throne
and a kingdom
of illusion

3.)

i'll lay
on the meads
of poetry
on the hebeus hill
by the lea
there i'll search
the skies' symmetry
there i'll cross
the cerulean sea

4.)

O Bathala!
can't you not hear
the song of your child
on this hill
each note is piercing
like a speak
into the heart
that is unstill

5.)

you whose beauty
with pride display
the finest flow'r
fades in the air
you're naught
when your time
steals away
you're naught
but mere dust
in the air

6.)

i have searched
the sky
and the sea
but haplessly i failed
i died
no loves true
when i ceased to be
and worst
heaven
my self denied
