In the News: Sandburg papers acquired by UI show editing process
Literary scholars may find new information about how Carl Sandburg's editor helped shape his poetry and his prose in materials the University of Illinois bought this summer. Among the documents are typed manuscripts for a volume of his biography of Abraham Lincoln and several drafts of his poem, “Psalm of the Bloodbank,” with editing marks or suggestions.
