I am now working on my second book of Pangasinan poetry tentatively entitled Malagilion. This poetry book will contain my attempts and experimentations on Pangasinan sonnets. It would surely veer away from the traditional Petrarchan, Shakespearean and/or Spenserian sonnet but I will try to retain the fourteen lines and ten syllables format.

napatnagan laray letaletak
dia ed kaumaan na gan-ganam
no unarap ka ed salming diman
nanengneng so inkioas na agew
naimano'y kimmebet lan aping
amagaan a bibil tan muling
'andi lay samiong na kalangoeran
say kasil tan say biskeg na laman
no nalikna la 'rayan liknaan
say kuanda man angob dalin ka la
agmo iitda'y paga pinabli
amin tayo untakken a siansia
On the other hand, I've submitted a new set of poems and a personal essay for possible inclusion in the Sunday Times Magazine. Many thanks and more power to the literary editor. I hope this magazine will eventually evolve into something similar to the Panorama perhaps even better :)
Nexus: DILA-philippines - a union among patriotic Ilocanos, Pangasinenses, Pampanguenos, Bicolanos, Warays, Karay-as, Ilongos, Cebuanos, and other minority ethno-linguistic groups in the Philippines (as well as Tagalogs who are sympathetic to our cause) who feel aggrieved by the language policy of their country, and whose passion in life centers around promoting their dear languages (and other aspects of their culture) and saving them from extinction. Love and pride for their languages motivated them into forging this grand alliance.
