Makata Issue No.9 is now available online featuring the poetry (in English, Tagalog, Bikol, Kapmpangan and Aklanon language) of our in-house and new poets Alvin Campos, Jose Jason L. Chancoco, Tyler Joseph Cusick, Jennifer Federizo, Maria Luisa C. Jalandoni, Rosendo M. Makabali, Noel Malicdem, Ron P. Nhim, Tony Mercado Peña, Alexander Martin Remollino, Louie Jon A. Sanchez, Bill Mitsuru T. Shimizu and David Zorc.

On the other hand, I attended the Ulupan meeting in PSU Lingayen last August 31. Discussed about the latest issue of the Balon Silew and the forthcoming issues.

A couple of my articles on Pangasinan literature and poems are included in the April-June issue of the Balon Silew. One poem is featured as the Anlong na Bulan (Poetry of the Month). However, my poem entitled Ngarem na Bilay was erroneusly credited to another name. I've asked Dr. Andaya to reprint the poem in the next issue with due credit and my by-line.
