An invitation has been extended to me through Edwin Camaya of the Kapampangan Network to attend the Pre-Summit Workshops on Federalism and the Summit itself. But I cannot attend the said pre-summit though due to my work load. Will try to make it though on Friday Oct. 24



On the other hand, the Ulupan na Pansiansia'y Salitan Pangasinan (Association for the Preservation of the Pangasinan Language) will visit the Juan D. Nepomuceno Center for Kapampangan Studies this Oct. 25, 2003.



NBDB's First Manuscript Fair



The National Book Development Board (NBDB) announces the first-ever Manuscript Fair dubbed as Gandang Aklat, Ilathala, open to both amateur and seasoned writers in the country.



The Manuscript Fair is open to all Filipino authors/writers, whose submitted manuscripts will be displayed from August 1 to December 30, 2003.

Santiago Villafania is a bilingual Filipino poet who writes in English and in his native language of Pangasinan. Born in Tuliao, Sta. Barbara, Pangasinan on 31 January 1971, Villafania graduated with a degree of Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Pangasinan in 1991.
