I pulled out another 100 copies of my book Pinabli from the printing press last Saturday before attending the monthly meeting of the Ulupan. As I expected, the first 100 copies released to the public did not sell well. So, Pangasinan poetry, anyone?

At the Ulupan meeting, only few people turned out. On the other hand, four of my sonnets from Malagilion is published in the latest issue of the Balon Silew. The issue isn't that good as far as the technical aspect is concerned. We still need to improve our publication. It's a good sign though that we received literary contributions from Pangasinenses abroad. There's even a proposal to organize an Ulupan chapter in the US.

The Ulupan officers hope to meet the Governor of Pangasinan on the third week of June to hear our proposals. In the meantime, we're waiting for a meteor shower :)
