Dalityapi is Finalist in the 2008 Philippine Blog Awards

Dalityapi is one of the 5 finalists who made it to the Best Blog: Culture & Arts category of the 2008 Philippine Blog Awards.

Culture & Arts category is about a blog that focuses on the different forms of art whether they be literary, visual, performance and musical art. The posts found in this blog could be a feature of a play; a post reporting on a cultural event, a review of a book or a critique of a play.

Other finalists for Best Blog-Culture and Arts are Gibbs Cadiz, pamatay homesick, Perlas Design Studio and Pinoy Power.

The winner will be announced during the 2008 Philippine Blog Awards night at One Esplanade near SM Mall of Asia on September 21, 2008.

Santiago Villafania is a bilingual Filipino poet who writes in English and in his native language of Pangasinan. Born in Tuliao, Sta. Barbara, Pangasinan on 31 January 1971, Villafania graduated with a degree of Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Pangasinan in 1991. Villafania advocates for the resurgence of Pangasinan as a literary language. His works in the vernacular are some of the most representative, if not among the few that comprise that Pangasinan contemporary literary body.
