UP Centennial Artists' Mother and Child Exhibit / Art Show

UP Centennial Artists, in cooperation with the UP Alumni Association, will mount their third exhibition of the year, which opens on Dec. 18, at the Trade Hall, third floor, Gateway Mall, Araneta Center, QC.

The exhibit will feature never-before-seen mother and child pieces from the UP Centennial Artists composed of university alumni and College of Fine Arts faculty and students. It will include works by National Artists Jose Joya and Bencab, and renowned practitioners Cheloy Dans, Ofelia Gelvezon-Tequi, Romy Mananquil, and Janice Young, among others.

To complement the visual aspects of the show, a number of talks are slated in the same venue in January. The discussions will focus on the mother and child as a recurring theme in art, gathering students, artists, and teachers from the university.
