Rio Alma Poetry Clinic Now Accepting Applicants
Description: The annual Rio Alma Poetry Clinic is now accepting applicants for its Batch 2002-2003. The poetry clinic is a nine-month course which includes lectures and workshops conducted by the country's notable poets. It will be facilitated by the officers and members of the Linangan sa Imahen, Retorika at Anyo (LIRA). Successful fellows of the workshop will become members of LIRA. The annual poetry clinic was named after LIRA's founder and adviser, distinguished poet Virgilio S. Almario (a.k.a Rio Alma).
Interested individuals should send their application, resume with 2x2 photo and five (5) samples of their poems to: LIRA, 73-A Sct. Limbaga St., Barangay Laging Handa, Quezon City. Deadline for submission of applications is on April 30, 2002.
