It's been a month now and still no replies from Manila Times and Sunday Inquirer Magazine about my submissions. I assume my poems are already junked. Oh me!

So, how do you get your works published here in the Philippines? First, you can ask the Palanca Award winners or those who have been a participant in a writing workshop in UP, UST or Silliman. If you can't get any response from them, that's the time to contact the so-called elite in the Philippine literary circle. You're lucky if you ever get a word or two from them but that won't assure a space either for your writings in their publications.
