Ambibo.com, an online magazine for Filipinos worldwide, launches Ambibo 3.0

Designed by Concept One, Ambibo's Cebu-based design & tech team and developed under the guidance of Ambibo Chief Information Officer Noah Omamalin, Ambibo now has a more contemporary look, a visual jump from the stark 'Ethnic Mondrian' grid when it originally launched two years ago. More than cosmetic improvements, it is now endowed with better functionality and navigation, especially for first-time visitors and neophyte users.

Originally created in the year 2000 as an online cultural magazine for the province of Zamboanga del Norte and the cities of Dipolog and Dapitan, Ambibo has now evolved into an electronic 'zine (Ezine) that caters to Filipinos all over the world. Its founder and creator, Armand B. Frasco, said he and the other pioneers of Ambibo had expected this after the highly favorable response to the original site.

At present, Ambibo has nearly 400 members globally, and sustains an average of 30,000 page views weekly. Aside from the online community, local Club Ambibo chapters have been formed both here and abroad to provide a venue for offline interaction for Ambibo members. (Concept One)
