tan ag met la makadngel so layag
ed kasil na bonban onsasabog
dia ed loob tan paoay na Baghdad
asalug na linget dala tan lua
so gendat a tataoage’y Persia
alioan say nanuley no ag ta
lapu'd say andeket a balitok
telek tan emel so dyus no bakal
natemek man so moski ed dasal

Four years after British author Iris Murdoch's death, her husband is selling the working library of nearly 1,000 books she collected and annotated over six decades. John Bayley doesn't have room for the books at his house in Oxford, England, now that he's remarried, said Rachel Lee, whose Rachel Lee Rare Books will hawk the collection.
Murdoch's collection ranges from philosophy and psychology to poetry and theology and includes such personal items as bookmarks with pressed flowers, bus tickets, and handwritten notes.
Bayley's memoir about Murdoch's decline from Alzheimer's disease was the basis of the 2001 film "Iris,'' starring Judi Dench and Kate Winslet in the title role. Jim Broadbent won a supporting-actor Oscar for portraying Bayley.
