I've learned that there will be another delay on the publication of the Ubod series for the mere reason that the NCCA's Department of Budget and Management has not released the intended allocations for the project. According to the informant, something to do with our current political climate. Huh? sounds like the funds are being used for other political agenda at the moment.

I'd be surprised really if this project is going to materialized in 2020!

Santiago Villafania is a bilingual Filipino poet who writes in English and in his native language of Pangasinan. Born in Tuliao, Sta. Barbara, Pangasinan on 31 January 1971, Villafania graduated with a degree of Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Pangasinan in 1991.
